Dean and Paul have competed as a team for 11 years now -- and had a quite a few successes in those years. Randy & Ed have been friends for years and since they got along well; decided to team up for the fun and competition of tournament fishing. They took 1st place on the Illinois Walleye Trail and qualified for the MWC World Walleye Championship through the Challenge. Steve and Kenny met on a fishing trip and starting fishing tournaments together. In 2002 they won the Cabela's National Team Championship -- which introduced them the following year to the Cabela's MWC at the 2003 MWC World Walleye Championship. This is their second trip to the MWC World Walleye Championship.

Mike and Travis had fished the MWC in previous years with different partners. In 2004 they teamed up together and had a pretty good year. They finished 14th at Spring Valley last year and qualified for the World Walleye Championship in their first year of fishing together.
