Last year four of the MWC teams each took out a soldier from four branches of the armed forces. It was tons of fun. Each team kicked in $20 and I put in $20 and the winner (biggest fish) won $100 plus a plaque. They'd like to do it again.

So....if YOU are interested in hosting a serviceman on Thursday for pre-fishing -- and willing to kick in $20 to the kitty -- let me know. First come first served to claim them.

All five teams please report to the MWC stage area at Barto Landing at 7:30 Thursday morning. I'll introduce you to your servicemen -- we'll shake hands and you'll head out for a day of pre-fishing. We'll agree on a weigh-in time (probably around 5) and I'll weigh your four biggest fish. (1 fish per team)

Kitty (and a plaque) goes to the winning serviceman.

I think it is GREAT that we can do this for these guys. It is a moral booster for them -- and gives a years worth of bragging rights.
