Detroit River: Michigan & Canadian waters, north to Pesche Island, south to Celeron Island.

Lake Erie: Michigan waters only. No Canadian or Ohio waters on Lake Erie.

The two bridges, the Grosse Isle Pkwy and the upriver drawbridge, have unmarked no-wake zones. Slow down at the main can buoys for both.

Foul weather boundaries: “River Only”

Keep marine band radios on Channel 72 for any tournament information, and use Channel 16 for emergencies.

Fish Limit
Fish size: 15” and over. Any fish brought in that is under 15” is a state violation and will result in DQ for the tournament.

Teams are allowed to weigh a limit of 5 fish per team per day. Cannot have more than 6 fish in the boat. Culling is allowed.

Canadian Waters (Detroit River only) – 1 line/angler, 4 hooks per line (treble is 1 hook regardless of live or artificial bait).

Michigan Waters (Lake Erie/Detroit River)–
3 rods/angler, max. 6 hooks total. All hooks attached to artificial bait are counted as 1 hook.

You are responsible for knowing what waters you are fishing in and following the regulations for that body of water.
