Everyone in our group of anglers were amazed a the efficient workings of this event last weekend. From start to end this event was as professional as they get. Only thing missing was fireworks but maybe there were some and I just missed them!

MWC Staff-Thank you for all the hard work you put into making this event an “EVENT”. I don’t know how you and the volunteers got 265+ boats launched on time but ya did. Great job! The weigh in set up was pretty impressive too!

DL Chamber of Commerce and volunteers: They treated us to a great picnic meal of brats, burgers n beans. Everyone was so helpful. I was just amazed at the efforts that went in to putting this event on.

Park Staff and volunteers: They had the boat launch running pretty efficiently. All the folks were so nice and would have done anything for us. We were treated like superstars

Sheriff's Dept: They escorted groups of 30 boats at a time thru town. they had deputies and police at intersections stopping traffic as the caravan paraded it's way to the weigh in. Thank you to the folks in uniform!

What more can I say? It was first class from start to end.

Now, if only the fish would have cooperated for me.
