Fish Limits

Fish size: 15” and over.

Teams are allowed to weigh a limit of 5 fish per team per day. There is also 3 fish per person limit; so the max in the boat allowable will be 6*.

If a team travels north to the slot limit area to fish, the slot limit would then apply to the basket they brought in, regardless of any fish caught in other locations.

Culling is not allowed.

Each angler may fish with a total of three baits, lures or hooks.

Boundaries

Drawing a line from Washington Point to Fairport is the fair weather boundary. Any rivers would be in bounds as far as they can float their boat and/or reach any man-made barrier.
Severe foul weather boundary: river only.

Keep marine band radios on Channel 72 for morning tournament information, and use Channel 16 for emergencies.

Tournament HOTLINE: 952-988-7247. Call that number early in the morning to find out if boundaries are being pulled in or any other tournament “last minute” information.

OTHER

Anglers will launch at ANY boat launch of your choosing, then drive to the designated parking area (maps at the rules meeting). A shuttle will take the truck driver to the on-the-water inspection location at the Menominee Marina. The boater partner will motor over to the Marina. Launch fees are waived for tournament days.

*The DNR reserves the right to restrict the number of fish allowed in the boat due to high water temperature.
