Jeff,
Chad and I would be looking forward to a Detroit River only tourney vs being a lake and river tourney. Is this the plan for 2010? Like the spacing on the tournaments for the Central. Tim Harms |

Hi Tim,
We are undecided at this point for Detroit River if its going to be river only or river and MI Lake Erie waters. We will discuss and post once we have made a decision on this. Thanks for your input though. Jeff |

Jeff,
Linda and I have always looked forward to fishing Detroit River and MI waters. We would be very disappointed if the tournament was River only. MI waters allows you to use other techniques besides jigging and hand-lining. We just wanted to share our preference with you. Regards, Bill and Linda |

jeff,
when will the cabela's ntc teams be announced |

Is there a reason that the west division can not be Fri and Sat tourneys? With the long journies for western teams it would really help and be beneficial to get more teams. Also on those waters, I have seen tourney days cancelled due to wind and/or weather and $800 for a 1 day tourney is not good. Thanks for listening, we will look hard at fishing the west if it does go to Fri and Sat tourney days.

Jeff, Doug and I would love to see a river only tournament, not only for ourselves, but for the good of trying to help the east grow in numbers of anglers. We are already fishing Sandusky, and Saginaw, both are open water bites, we should be versatile. Detroit River is one of the top Walleye Factories in the Country, and there are probably more local fisherman there than any other body of water we fish in the East, in my opinion, we are not attracting this local group of anglers because of including the lake in our boundries, and for the most part if the bite is on in the lake,a river fisherman doesnt stand a chance.

Jeff , No matter what your decision is on the boundries we will respect it,and I,m sure all the other dedicated anglers from the east will as well, but we have fished the Detroit River/Lake Erie for years, why not try something different for a year to see if the numbers will grow. FISH-ON
