Hello Kristine
Subject #1
How will early bird teams have their team numbers assigned?
#2
How does one go about getting about 6 of the MWC logo shirt patches, or can you send the the embroidery software via e-mail? I haven't received any MWC pro shirts to wear at Walleye Expo yet, so I figured I better take care of it myself
#3 Idea
How about doing a "team profile" on the top three teams from each tournament and post it here or put it on the MWC Update page in the magazine? Maybe things like how each team member got into tournament fishing, how long they have been doing it, sponsors, family & employment details. There are alot of us who have fished the MWC for a long time and know our fellow anglers by a face, but little else. It would also be help to give the anglers more exposure.

Sorry -- I posted a reply to this from my hotel room in Pittsburgh but it didn't "upload" for some reason. I'll rekey and try again now that I'm back in the office.

Early bird will be decided two ways. For those teams that finished in the top 40 they can retain their finishing position boat number. If someone ahead of them does not enter as an early bird team, say, 35 out of the 40 do and five don't -- then every open spot the team behind would simply move up. So in that situation we'd have 1-35 filled. If we had 50 teams, then numbers 36 - 50 would be assigned randomly to those other early bird teams. If you are not exactly the same team you cannot retain your finishing position. New partner constitutes a new team.

About working the sports shows with me -- you do not have to wear special attire. However, I will make it worth your while to be there helping out.

I like your "team profile" idea in the magazine. Maybe also for all the early bird teams we could print a "team profile" magazine (like we did for the Championship) that shows photos, lists sponsors, bragging rights for the teams and their fishing accomplishments? What do you think of that idea? Might help the early bird teams out with sponsors as they would be able to list them in this directory and it would be handed out at each tournament. ?? Would only work if the teams would QUICKLY respond with photos and bio sheets after receiving them. It's a tight turnaround between January 24th and March 22nd.

Those of you that saw the Championship directory -- what do you think of that idea for early birds for the season?

Being in the Championship last year I got to see first hand the directory and thought it was Great!!! I think it would be a valuable tool for early bird entrants to use for promoting not only themselves to potential sponsors but also the circuit as well!

So what about returning teams, like us, that were early birds last year and registered as early birds this year but did not finish in the top 40 last year? Example: We were team 44 and finished 48th last year. If 90 teams register as early birds is there a chance we would drop to boat# 90 even though we are a returning team?

PS- Any chance you could post the names of the teams from whome you have received early bird registrations from so far? That way we could rest assured that our registrations made it to you. Most people would rather know now if it got lost in the mail rather than after the deadline.

Thanks much
