Hi everyone. Assuming all of you have read/heard about Kurt Beckstrom's son Jake's injury. He had a diving accident 8/11 this year and broke his neck. He's paralyzed from chest down...and is working on re-hab at Sister Kenny in Minneapolis. Recovery is going really well. If you'd like to read more...go to

Just wanted you all to know that we are hosting a fundraiser event for the family. There will be house remodeling in the months ahead and they will need a wheel-chair accessible van.

We are planning an event for Sunday Nov 20th from 2pm to 6pm at the Medina Entertainment Center in Medina, MN....just West of Minneapolis on Hwy 55. There will be live auction and silent auction -- as well as a raffle. The raffle tickets will be $5 each and the 1st place will be a 2005 Tracker Pro Team 175 17-foot aluminum fishing boat with a 50-horsepower Mercury four-stroke outboard and MotorGuide trolling motor. 2nd place will be a Yamaha digitial suround sound home theatre system and 3rd place will be an I-Pod.

I'll have tickets (they aren't printed yet) but if anyone wants to purchase tickets just make checks payable to me and I'll mail them to you. (I'll just do this personally, not an MWC thing.)

Tickets will be $5 each or will come in packs of 20 for $100.

By the way, the auction event is FAST approaching. Only one more week. There are about 1000 items on the auction. LOTS of great Christmas presents that you can get some GREAT deals. Please come and enjoy the festivities. 2pm to 6pm Sunday the 20th at the Medina Entertainment Center....which is 4 miles west of I-494 on Hwy 55 in Medina. Easy to find. This is the west-side suburbs of Minneapolis.

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the event -- although I must admit they are selling like CRAZY -- and we only have 5,000. So get there early so there's still tickets to buy on the 20th. With over 1000 items you'll find some GREAT deals on lots of fishing tackle and even guns and other hunting accessories.
