I am alittle confused on what advantage a team has by fishing a division plus one tournament. What advantage does that format give a team? How does a team qualify for the Walleye Madness Challenge? I would appreciate any imput.
The advantage to fishing a division, and a challenge (another tournement out of your division) are 2 reasons, 1 You now qualify to win overall Team of The Year, including team of the year in your division, and 2 you have over double the odds to qualify for the championship.
The Walleye Madness qualifications are on the same page as the 2009 Toyota Bonus information. Good luck this year in the Walleye Madness hopfully you'll win a Toyota bonus as well!!
There is no 2009 Walleye Madness tournament scheduled.
Toyota 2009 was also mentioned, which we have not confirmed yet. We will be posting information on all 2009 sponsor contingency programs in the next few weeks.

I see three very good reasons...Overall Team of the Year, double the odds of making the championship and having more fun!
There is a Division Team of the Year for those that fish a complete division and there is an overall Team of the Year, to qualify you must have fished a 4th "Challenge" Tourney
Championship Qualifiers are drawn first from the Division standings. Then those that fished a "Challenge" Tourney. The top 20% of the eligible MWC Challenge teams, rounded down, skipping over any teams that qualified previously will Qualify for the Championship.
