Tournament Registration question

Hello,

For one I would like to know if the EAST Divistion is still accepting applicants to fish all three tournaments?

Second, Can I have more than one partner and still be eligible for points and making the championship? My dad would fish with me at Detroit and Saginaw, but he can not make it to Lake Ontario, Henderson Harbor. So I would have to get a fill in partner for that event.

I take it that I will have to send in two registrations. One, for my dad and myself and a second for my fill in partner?

Thanks

Larry,

We have space available in all three East Division tournaments and are still accepting applications for all the tournaments. For the Detroit River tournament, you will want to get your application in soon as late fees start on March 23.

To qualify for the Championship, you need to fish all three tournaments with the same teammate. If you change teammates throughout the year, you are starting a new team and the points you have accummulated will not transfer.

If you do fish with two different teammates, you will need to send in two different entry forms for each team.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

Thanks a lot for the reply. I will see what I can do to get my dad to change his prior engagement.

A team always has an option to have one partner fish alone. That way, your points are still good. I know that's hard work -- but it is an option. And ask Tod Conner from Michigan -- he cashed a check fishing by himself at Spring Valley awhile back.

It is another option for you. And we can try to find an observer; although the observe CAN NOT HELP IN ANY WAY. Cannot net, drive the boat, reel a board out of the way -- nothing. However, if you go overboard they can help you out or throw you a cushion. :-) Always a plus. Or if you have a heart attack they can grab you cell and dial 911 for you. So....there are some advantages to having an observer. But not for fishing.

Hope that helps you with your options.

Thanks Kristine. I talked to my dad last night. He's going to fish Henderson Harbor with me, He's just going to take unpaid time from work.

Thanks again for the reply.
