I would like to know when the tournaments are going to be aired on tv. Is there some way we could have the air times posted on this website. It is a great product for your sponsors but we always miss it on tv because there is no advertising of any kind to for warn the viewers that it is coming up.

They are posted under the tournament. So under Spring Valley it indicated TV Times on Versus and also at Port Clinton/Walleye Madness. Our next televised tournament is tentatively Devils Lake (hope our numbers pick up) and then the Championship in the fall. Will post the TV schedule on each of those sections of the bulletin board. Hope that works okay....if you know where to find it.

Just a suggestion here. These are excellent tournaments and they have a grest following, but with no way of really knowing that they are going to be on TV you do not get much in the rating category. Put tv times in the Cabeals retail stores or have them in the Cabelas catalogues. Run a series of commercials on versus would be perfect. If you did anything at all above and beyond this website it would help enormously. Not trying to be rude but these forums sometimes go a month with no interaction. People are not on here viewing very often. Heck walleye central would be an excellent place for you to advertise also. These tournaments are an excellent product and I would follw all of them if I could stay in tune to when they are to be aired.

ps. Hope to see that western division next year, I can vouge for at least a half dozen teams that are very interested. Oahe, Francis Case, Devils Lake, Sacajawea, Lake Sharpe, possibly Fort Peck or Glacial Lakes such as Waubay or Bitter. Stay away from the Minnesota lakes if you want a true mid western follwing. There is not a strong pull to go east of South and North Dakota for mid westerns to chase walleyes. However Minnesotans, Iowans ect. frequent the waters I mentioned very often. These are the main bodies of water in our area. In short, keep the travel to a minimum and you will get a whole lot more consistent following from the west. People will be more willing to fish them all and go for angler of the year which in turn makes for more drama and better tv.
